Dr. Guohua Chen is now a Chair Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, He worked as Chair Professor and Dean, School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong; Chair Professor and Associate Vice President (Research Support), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Professor and Head of Department, Chemical and Biological Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He served as the 17th President of Asian-Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering. He is Editor-in-Chief, Process Safety and Environmental Engineering, Editor, Separation and Purification Technology, Associate Editor for Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering, and Energy Materials and Device. He has published over 370 journal papers and delivered more than 200 invited/keynote/plenary talks. His google citation is over 40,000 times with an h-index being over 100. He is a fellow of AIChE and HKIE. He is a fellow of Hong Kong Academy of Engineering, fellow of Global Academy of Chinese Chemical Engineering, fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering,

Prof. Philippe A. Tanguy

Philippe A. Tanguy is the Chief Strategy Office, HTEC, Canada. Previously he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Polytechnique Montréal. He is the autor of over 300 publications including 200 fully-refereed articles in computational mathematics and chemical engineering focusing on non-Newtonian fluid processes, multiphase flow and energy, and he has filed 10 patents jointly with industrial partners. He initiated and led a dozen of major international scientific events in process engineering, including the organizing of the 8th World Conference of Chemical Engineering (Montreal, 2009).
